Creating and Customizing Summary Templates ✍️

How to Create a New Summary Template

  1. Go to Templates in your Jurnie app.

  2. Click Create Template.

  3. Template Name → Enter the name of your template (e.g., “Sales Call Summary”, “Weekly Sync”, “Client Onboarding”).

  4. Template Description → Describe what this template is for and when it should be used.

  5. Under Template Sections, begin building the structure of your summary:

    • Section Title → Give your section a name.

    • Section Description → Explain what content Jurnie should capture for this section.

👉 You can add as many sections as you want, perfect for creating templates suited to different meeting formats.


Default Template Structure

The default Jurnie summary template includes:

  • Key Takeaways

  • Participant Details

  • Topics Discussed

  • Timeline and Deadlines

  • Action Items

This template cannot be edited directly, but you’re welcome to use it as inspiration when building your own.


Example Template: Feature Requests ✨

Template Name: Feature Requests

Template Description: Capture all details about new feature requests in a structured and actionable way.

Sections:

  • Requester Details 🧑‍💻

    Who submitted the request (name, role, email).

    Example: Anna Jensen, Product Manager, anna.jensen@example.com

  • Feature Summary 📝

    Brief description of the requested feature.

    Example: Allow users to filter search results by multiple tags simultaneously.

  • Business Justification 💼

    Why this feature is needed or what problem it solves.

    Example: Users spend too much time scrolling; multi-tag filtering improves efficiency.

  • Priority & Impact ⚡

    Set priority and potential impact for planning.

    Example: High priority; improves user retention and reduces support tickets.

  • Proposed Implementation or Notes 🛠️

    Additional details, mockups, or suggested approaches.

    Example: Multi-select dropdown with tag chips; update search API for multiple tags.

  • Dependencies & Risks ⚠️

    Any dependencies or potential risks.

    Example: Depends on updated tagging system; may increase search query load.

  • Action Items ✅

    Next steps or assigned responsibilities.

    Example: Assign to Dev Team; due 30/12/2025; follow-up meeting 25/12/2025.
